Nature

Sometimes myths are true.

According to Gary Lockhart, author of The Weather Companion, rain falls within 24 hours of excessively red sunrises 61 percent of the time in winter and 70 percent of the time in summer.

Bright red sunsets, however, are followed by 24 hours of dry weather 71 percent of the time in winter and 57 percent of the time in summer.
