Communist Seeks Medical Evaluation

Associated Press

Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov, describing Russia as a ship without a captain, accused Boris Yeltsin on Monday of being incapable of carrying out his duties and not working a single day in four months.

Gennady Zyuganov, defeated by Yeltsin in last summer’s presidential elections, told a news conference that a medical commission must be established to evaluate the health of the country’s leaders.

He has made similar calls before.
