Joan Marie Mitrick recently became the bride of J. Thomas Owen in a ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Church, Streetsboro, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph J. and Joan W. Mitrick, Bedford, Ohio. Robert D. and Alice R. Owen, Newport, Wash., are the parents of the groom.

A reception at the Twin Lakes Country Club, Twin Lakes, Ohio, followed the ceremony. A second reception was held in Newport. The couple are living in Troy, Mich., after a honeymoon in Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
