Diana Sines reported Wednesday $500 damage to the paint of her car while it was parked at her home on the 3000 block of Fruitland Lane.

Richard Nyquist reported Wednesday $300 damage to the rear window of his car while it was parked at his home on the 1900 block of Seventh St.

Gregory McClellan reported Wednesday $1,200 damage to the paint of his pickup truck while it was parked at his home on the 2900 block of Fruitland Lane.

Kootenai County sheriff

Butch Peacock, owner of Freelance Carpentry, reported Tuesday the $6,891 theft of power tools and miscellaneous hand tools from a construction site on 16th St., in Dalton Gardens.

James Kennedy, Post Falls, reported Wednesday the $7,155 theft of jewelry, video cassette recorder, two handguns, a rifle, four-wheel all-terrain vehicle and miscellaneous items from his home on the 2400 block of Fisher St.

Jeff Davis, Post Falls, reported Wednesday the $400 theft of a bicycle from his home on the 1800 block of Prairie View Road.

Rand Wichman, Post Falls, reported Wednesday the $1,182 theft of a portable CD player, shotgun and hunting gear from his pickup truck while it was parked near Nelson Loop and Biggs Road.
