All Bets Off At Miami

Compiled From Wire Services

The NCAA decided not to punish Miami defensive end Kenny Holmes for losing his shirt in a friendly wager he made with two Florida State players when the three were still in high school.

Holmes had been declared temporarily ineligible after the NCAA expressed concern about a possible violation of gambling rules when he gave FSU players Henri Crockett and Connell Spain his game jersey following Miami’s loss to the Seminoles this year. Crockett and Spain are also expected to be cleared.
