French Diplomat Kidnapped In Yemen

Yemeni authorities negotiated Monday for the release of a French diplomat who was abducted by tribesmen and taken to a desert province, security sources said.

Members of the Murad tribe kidnapped the diplomat as he was driving his car in the capital, San’a, the sources said on condition of anonymity.
