Jack King Named President Of Idaho Counties Group
Jack King, Shoshone County commissioner, has been named president of the Idaho Association of Counties (IAC) by a unanimous vote of its members.
King, an active member of IAC since 1993, will help the group achieve its goals of improving county government and serving as a spokesman for counties on the state and national levels through research, training and legislative lobbying.
IAC is a non-profit, non-partisan service organization dedicated to improving county government.
The International Order of Job’s Daughters, Coeur d’Alene Bethel 7, recently installed new officers for the 1996 fall term. They are as follows:
Kelly Colleen Goen, honored queen; Shasta Magee, senior princess; and Catie Meier, junior princess.
Job’s Daughters, a charitable organization for young women ages 11-20 affiliated with the Masonic Lodge, volunteer their time and efforts to visiting patients at The Shriner’s Hospital or local convalescent centers, the Children’s Village and raise funds through bake sales, car washes and Christmas wreath sales.
Jessica Corsi, a 1996 Lakeland High School graduate, has enlisted in the Army as an administrative specialist and recently departed for basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Corsi, daughter of Kirby and Judith Corsi of Post Falls, has enrolled in the G.I. Bill for up to $14,998 for college and joined the Army for skill training, experience and money for college.
Jerry Cash, son of Miranda Zollinger of Coeur d’Alene and Russell Cash of Utah, has enlisted in the Army’s Delayed Entry Program as a combat engineer and recently departed for basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Mo.
Cash joined the Army for skill training, experience and money for college.
