Soccer Stars Satisfied
Top American soccer players, who refused to participate in an exhibition loss to Peru last week because of their concerns over bonus money, have reached contract agreements with the U.S. Soccer Federation, ensuring they will play in World Cup qualifiers.
The first qualifying game is Nov. 3 against Guatemala.
Most of the players who helped the United States reach the second round of the 1994 World Cup were involved in the agreement. That group includes Alexi Lalas, John Harkes, Tab Ramos and Eric Wynalda.
