Pete Sampras ran his winning streak to 21 matches, reaching the finals of the Eurocard Open with a tough 6-3, 6-4 victory over Jan Siemerick of the Netherlands.

Boris Becker won the other semifinal, ousting Michael Chang 6-4, 6-3.
