Teens Slam Into Tree After Pulling Prank

Compiled From Wire Services

Three teenage girls were killed early Wednesday when their car slammed into a tree as they fled from a friend’s house where they had been littering the yard with toilet paper.

Three others were injured, one critically. The accident happened shortly after midnight as the friend’s parents chased after them in a pickup truck.

The crash came as students at Sprayberry High School were preparing a safe-driving campaign that would have involved the re-enactment of a fatal accident scene today, complete with a mock funeral and a Grim Reaper pulling students from classes and dressing them as ghosts.
