Swedes Advance

Mats Sundin and Peter Forsberg scored decisive third-period goals to give Sweden a 5-2 victory over Finland and the first semifinal berth in the World Cup of Hockey.

Sweden, winner of the European pool with a perfect 3-0 record, received a bye and automatically advanced to the third round (the semifinals) Saturday in Philadelphia.
