Arthur Albinola Silverton, Idaho

Service for Arthur A. Albinola, 93, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Osburn Community Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Nine Mile Cemetery in Wallace. Shoshone Funeral Service in Wallace is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Albinola, who was born in Spokane, died Sunday.

He lived in the Silver Valley most of his life and attended schools in Wallace.

He had worked for several trucking companies in the area, including Flynn Transportation, United Truck Lines, Inland Motor Freight and the Kellogg Transfer Co.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ula; a son, Bill Albinola of Silverton; a daughter, Rose Albinola of California; two sisters, Louise Leick of California and Rena Heitfeld of Coeur d’Alene; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Center in Silverton, Idaho.

Paul Anderson Troy, Idaho

Visitation for Paul James Anderson, 93, will be today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursday until 11 a.m. at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow. Graveside service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Beulah Cemetery near Troy.

Mr. Anderson, who was born in South Dakota, died Saturday.

He attended school in Mountain Home, Idaho, later moving to Garfield, Wash. He farmed in the Garfield area until moving to a farm at Troy in 1950.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 68 years, Elma; four children, Arnold Anderson of Troy, Lillian Burns and Alan Anderson, both of Moscow, and Donna Thorp of Lynnwood, Wash.; three brothers, Edgar of Garfield, Donald of Lewiston and W.C. “Bill” of Fairfield; six sisters, Gladys Anderson, Helen Byrne and Margaret Frame, all of Garfield, Anna Banka of Newport, Wash., Edna Leonard of Palouse, Wash., and Dorothy Davis of Oregon; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Lawrence Marshall Spokane

Service for Lawrence L. “Larry” Marshall, 64, is set for 11:30 a.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Marshall, who died Saturday, was born in Burke, Idaho.

He moved to Spokane from Kellogg and graduated from Central Valley High School.

He worked as a draftsman for Kaiser Aluminum and was the president of the Office Workers Union Local No. 4017.

He later became an international subdistrict director for the United Steelworkers of America No. 38.

Mr. Marshall was active in campaigns and committees with the Democratic Party. He was vice chairman of the Democratic Central Committee from 1988 to 1995.

He was also the president of SOAR, the Kaiser Retirees Association.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife of 43 years, Helen; a son, Dan Marshall; four daughters, Kathy McLain, Julie Marshall, Sharon Lucas and Sandy Christiansen; two brothers, Don and James Marshall; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Beloit ‘Jack’ Beck Post Falls

At his request, no service will be held for Beloit “Jack” Beck, 90. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beck, who was born in Wyoming, died Friday.

He had moved to Wallace 37 years ago before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1979.

He had worked as a contract miner in the Wallace area and was a member of the Wallace Elks Lodge.

Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, in 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Beck of Dalton Gardens and Mervin Beck of Oregon; two daughters, Beverly Larson of Post Falls and Carole Cook of Kirkland, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lewis Lott Jr. St. Maries

Service for Lewis A. Lott Jr., 65, will be today at 2 p.m. at Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Lott, who was born in Denver, died Friday.

He was educated in Colorado and had worked for the Forest Service for more than 30 years throughout the United States.

He retired in 1981 and moved to St. Maries, where he served on the City Council and the school board.

Mr. Lott was a member of the Idaho School Boards Association, the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry,Calam Shrine Temple of Lewiston, and the St. Maries Masonic Lodge and was the president of the St. Maries Shrine Club.

There are no known survivors.

Doris Cunningham Page, Idaho

Service for Doris Rozella Cunningham, 65, was held Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg. Shoshone Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cunningham, who was born in Iowa, died Friday.

She moved to the Silver Valley in 1941 from Wyoming and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Kenneth; two stepsons, Mike and Gary Cunningham, both of Page; two sisters, Pearl Slover of Kingston and Margaret Foshee of California; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Larry Hunka Post Falls

Service for Larry D. Hunka, 58, will be at 10 a.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.

Born in Ardmore, Alberta, Mr. Hunda died Thursday.

He was the former co-owner of Canndell’s Warehouse Furniture Showroom. He was known in the furniture store’s advertising promotions as “Big Kahuna”. He later operated Kahuna’s Kars in the Spokane Valley, and U.S. Marina.

He moved to Post Falls 6-1/2 years ago.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Post Falls.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Thelma Hunka of Post Falls; a son, Kerry Hunka of Post Falls; two daughters, Michelle Hunka and Rommi Williams, both of Spokane; his mother, Helen Hunka of Cold Lake, Alberta; a brother, George Hunka of Bonnyville, Alberta; and five grandchildren.

Richard Libby Coeur d’Alene

Visitation for Richard N. Libby, 81, will be today from 3-8 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Yates. Burial will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Libby, who was born in Palouse, Wash., died Sunday.

He moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1922 and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School. In 1944 he moved to the Wolf Lodge area, where he was a rancher for 45 years.

Mr. Libby also worked for the Coeur d’Alene School District.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alma; a son, Lawrence Libby of Minnesota; two daughters, Vetra Shockley of Vancouver, Wash., and Valarie Elligsen of Oregon; three brothers, Wallace Libby of Spokane, Amos Libby of Coeur d’Alene and Howard Libby of Oregon; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Beverly Wilkerson Mullan, Idaho

Service for Beverly Marie Wilkerson, 76, will be today at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Mullan. Burial will follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Mullan. Shoshone Funeral Service of Wallace is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wilkerson, who was born in Wallace, died Saturday.

She was a lifelong Silver Valley resident and graduated from Mullan High School in 1937. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jim; a daughter, Sharon Miner of Arizona; two sisters, Joanne Flynn of Bellevue, Wash., and Dorothy Hodges of Portland; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
