County Limits Parking Near Mullan School

Spokane County commissioners on Tuesday banned daytime parking on part of 63rd Avenue near Mullan Elementary School.

Officials for Spokane School District 81 requested the change. They said parked cars added to the congestion on the street.

Bus drivers and parents picking up their children sometimes have trouble getting into the school’s parking lot, officials said.

The new rule applies from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. school days.
