Kootenai County has a backlog of 4,000 outstanding arrest warrants. Officials are asking the public for any information about the following people, who are identified by name, age, last known city of residence, the charge and the bond amount on the warrant. Felonies

Steven P. Ensminger 40, Spokane, parole violation/possession of a controlled substance and contempt, $5,059 bond.

Rebecca A. Lageschulte 39, Athol, non-sufficient funds check fraud (two counts), $3,000 bond.

Calvin E. Mathis 44, Coeur d’Alene, grand theft, $10,000 bond.

Michael P. Stewart 26, Spokane, failure to appear/burglary, $5,000 bond.

James P. Taie 30, Spokane, parole violation/grand theft, eluding, contempt, $10,076 bond.

Misdemeanors

Edward R. Carey 38, Rathdrum, contempt/unlawful entry, $157 bond.

Charles J. Carpenter 20, Spokane, contempt/minor in possession of tobacco, $651 bond.

Edgar M. Charon 27, Spokane, contempt/driving while suspended, $241 bond.

Douglas A. Davis 20, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/injury to a child, $51 bond.

Lawrence E. Hammett 47, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/non-sufficient funds checks, $251 bond.

Raymon J. Hardy 33, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/driving while suspended, $200 bond.

Alan L. Howard 48, Post Falls, contempt/domestic battery, $200 bond.

Larry H. Johnson 32, contempt/driving under the influence, $200 bond.

Bruce C. McAtee 32, Spokane, contempt/driving under the influence and possession of marijuana, $541 bond.

Wesley S. Meshell 32, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/driving while suspended, failure to appear/work program, $200 bond, two days in jail.

Eddie L. Mitchell 25, Spokane, contempt/reckless driving, $700 bond.

Donna S. Moulton 40, Post Falls, contempt/failure to notify of accident, $351 bond.

James P. Nudell 29, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/failure to purchase a driver’s license, failure to appear/jail time, $251 bond, two days in jail.

Todd E. Toreson 22, Spokane, contempt/driving while suspended, $366 bond.

Most warrants can be taken care of by contacting the Kootenai County courthouse and paying an outstanding fine.
