Talent Agency Opens In City
Aspiring actors, take note.
Big Fish NW, a new talent agency specializing in non-union actors, has opened in Spokane at 628 1/2 N. Monroe.
Big Fish owner Becky Reilly has seven years of experience as an agent and represents actors on commission only.
“When they get work, I get money,” said Reilly, who receives 20 percent of her actors’ earnings.
In Denver, Reilly represented about 1,000 actors, placing them in company training films, commercials, voice-over jobs and some TV movies.
Reilly sold her Denver business to a former partner, and moved to Spokane in 1994. The Denver business retains the Big Fish name and the two companies have agreed to share talent and projects in the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions.
“I have no doubt that within a year, I’ll represent anyone in Spokane worth representing,” Reilly said. , DataTimes
