Year Of Building For Pronghorn Herds

This appears to be a year of building for pronghorn herds throughout much of the west. Montana has reacted to struggling pronghorn herds in much of the state by suspending over-the-counter sales of doe permits this season.

Nevertheless, the prairie phantoms continue to hold strong enough for Montana to offer 32,097 tags this year.
