All-league returners: First team - Mike Kocharhook, G-Prep; Erick Eigenhuis, CV; Raif Jochim, CV; Eric Sandberg, Ferris. Second team - Brian Munhall, Ferris; Paul Greif, G-Prep; Rob Elmer, Mead; Justin Williams, North Central.
Tough encore: Sandberg won the league’s triple crown last year as a sophomore, hitting .519 with six home runs and 25 runs batted in. He also struck out a league-high 68 batters.
