Teens Face Expulsion After Coffee Spiked

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two Sandpoint Middle School students face expulsion and possible criminal charges for allegedly spiking their teacher’s coffee with window cleaner.

School district officials said the 13-year-old girls were suspended after the March 21 incident.

District executive assistant Teddy Crabb said no decision on expulsions was expected until after a hearing has been held for both girls.

According to Sandpoint Police Department records, the girls allegedly put window cleaner into the cup of their study hall teacher after she left the classroom. Police said the teacher, Kerry Deremiah, did not drink any of the solution. , DataTimes
