Windermere Real Estate Sales Associate Recognized

Karen Corcoran, sales associate for Windermere Real Estate’s Coeur d’Alene office, has been elected to the Select Equestrian and Ranch Properties Network board of directors.

Corcoran, an 11-year real estate veteran working with Windermere since 1996, holds Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. She is a two-year member of the Panhandle Equine Rescue, and a 15-year member and past president of Childhelp U.S.A.

Select Equestrian and Ranch Properties Network is a cooperative marketing network of country property specialists with approximately 60 members in 10 states.

Frank Henderson, retired Kootenai County commissioner, was recently sent on a two-week volunteer mission to Ukraine, where he trained city and state officials on government’s role and methods of economic development.

Henderson serves as a volunteer executive with the International Executive Service Corps. The IESC is a non-profit organization that sends retired Americans to assist businesses and private enterprises in developing countries, and to new emerging democracies of Central and Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. IESC’s mission is to help foreign-aid dependent countries become self-sufficient.

Navy Midshipman Philip Dana, son of Richard and Sharlene Grantham of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, has been selected for the Commandant of Midshipmen’s List at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Dana, a 1990 Bonners Ferry High School graduate, earned placement on the list by maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.2 and demonstrating exemplary military leadership abilities and high marks in conduct and physical fitness.

Idaho Sen. Larry Craig, has been recognized by the Idaho Primary Care Association for his strong commitment to rural and migrant health care in Idaho.

Craig was noted for his sensitivity to the role of Community Health Centers in providing accessible health services to the poor and uninsured Idahoans, and for his dedication to health care legislation.
