Sen. Mccaslin Has Gallstones Removed

From Staff And Wire Reports

Bob McCaslin, a state senator from the Spokane Valley, was hospitalized Monday and underwent a procedure to remove gallstones from his gall bladder in the afternoon.

McCaslin was admitted to Providence St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia after experiencing pains in his side on Sunday night. He could be released as soon as today and return to work by Wednesday.

The medical procedure was the second McCaslin has received during the current legislative session. In February, he received an angioplasty to clear a blocked artery.
