Woman Dies, 5 Hurt In Wreck On Wet Road

A 19-year-old woman was killed Thursday night after her car collided with a van in Stevens County, the Washington State Patrol said.

Kelly E. Paulson of Colville suffered massive head and internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, the WSP said.

Angela K, Wolf, 30, of Colville was driving her four children in the van. She suffered a broken left arm and scalp lacerations, the WSP said.

Wolf’s children - Anna, 11; Noel, 9; Levi, 6; and Taylor, 19 months - suffered similar injuries and were taken to Mount Carmel Hospital, the WSP said.

The accident occurred on Aladdin Road about four miles north of Colville.

Paulson lost control of her 1991 Acura Integra while driving north on Aladdin. The car slid sideways on the wet road into the southbound 1978 Chevrolet van, the WSP said. , DataTimes
