Nasa Flight Director Will Speak

From Staff And Wire Reports

When Apollo 13 developed problems in space, as chronicled in Ron Howard’s 1995 film “Apollo 13,” it was Gene Kranz to whom the three-man NASA crew looked for help.

Kranz, director of flight operations for NASA’s moon launches, will talk about his career at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Showalter Hall on Eastern Washington University’s Cheney campus.

The talk, titled “Failure is Not an Option,” is free and open to the public. , DataTimes
