Troika Triathlon On Sunday

The 17th annual Spokane Troika triathlon will take place Sunday.

The race will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the open-water swim at Medical Lake. Competitors then take on a hilly, 38-mile bike course across the West Plains and through Riverside State Park to the transition area in front of the carousel in Riverfront Park. The last leg will be a 10-mile run on the Centennial Trail.

Organizers expect between 200 and 250 competitors. , DataTimes
