Jones-Clinton Trial May Be Set Aug. 22

Associated Press

A trial date for Paula Corbin Jones’ sexual harassment lawsuit against President Clinton could be set in two weeks, a federal judge said Thursday.

U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright scheduled an Aug. 22 pretrial conference to consider the exchange of evidence and the filing of motions.

The judge said she also anticipated setting a trial date at the conference, which both sides requested.
