Workshop Planned On Grant Requests

Nonprofit agencies that plan to apply for social services and community development grants from the city of Spokane must attend a workshop Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Room 1A of the Spokane Library, 906 W. Main.

Applications won’t be accepted from agencies that don’t attend.

Requests for the more than $300,000 available will be accepted through Sept. 19.

The city’s Human Services Advisory Board recommends how the dollars should be spent, but the City Council makes the final decisions.
