Bruised Man Found Dead In Garage

From Staff And Wire Reports

A middle-aged man’s body was found Tuesday night in the garage of his Spokane Valley home, sparking a homicide investigation.

The man was bleeding from a head wound and had bruises on his body, according to sheriff’s Capt. Doug Silver.

Deputies also found blood inside the home at 2019 N. Flora Road.

The man, in his late 50s or early 60s, has a medical condition and relatives stay in close contact, Silver said.

When family members were unable to reach the man by phone Tuesday, they became concerned. They went to the house about 7:40 p.m. and discovered the body on the garage floor, Silver said.

The victim’s identity was withheld.
