Cougars Offer Football Clinic In Spokane On Saturday

Interested in tightening up that spiral? Come meet Ryan Leaf.

Want to learn the finer points of rushing the passer? Dorian Boose is available.

Always wanted to know what it takes to win in November? Hey, no cynics allowed.

But boys and girls interested in mingling with Washington State football players can pick up a few pointers - and autographs - when the Cougars hold a free football clinic Saturday at 3:30 at the North Complex adjacent to Albi Stadium.

Kids up to the eighth grade are welcome.

“The whole idea is just to give back to the Spokane community,” coach Mike Price said. “It is the largest community around here and we think it’s Cougar country.

“The more people that show up, the better.”

The 1-hour clinic is co-sponsored by the Spokane Youth Sports Association.
