De Bruin Wins More Gold

Michelle (Smith) De Bruin collected her second gold medal in two races in the European Swimming Championships by winning the 200-meter freestyle in 1 minute, 59.93 seconds.

In the women’s 200 breaststroke, 16-year-old Hungarian Agnes Kovacs, clocked 2:24.90 to set a European record and just miss the world record of 2:24.76 by Rebecca Brown of Australia.
