‘The Simpsons’ Home Up For Grabs
Don’t have a cow, man!
Instead, have a bright orange house just like the cartoon one on the popular TV show “The Simpsons,” where there are corn-cob window curtains and a doorway high enough for a three-foot blue hairdo.
Kaufman & Broad, among the biggest home builders in Arizona and the nation, has meticulously recreated the Simpson home outside of Las Vegas and will give it away in a drawing during “The Simpsons” season premier Sept. 21.
The $150,000 home is in Kaufman & Broad’s subdivision being built in Henderson, just outside Las Vegas. The subdivision is named Springfield, after the Simpsons’ hometown.
Kaufman & Broad is teaming with Fox Broadcasting and Pepsi-Cola to give away the Simpsons look-alike abode. Entry numbers are attached to most Pepsi products, and the winning number will be revealed at the beginning of the Sept. 21 show.
