Morrison Pleads Innocent

Compiled From Wire Services

Boxer Tommy Morrison, who just last month resolved a drunken driving case in Kansas, pleaded innocent to charges tied to a traffic accident that injured three people this week.

Delaware County prosecutors charged Morrison, 28, with four misdemeanor counts: driving under the influence, carrying a firearm while under the influence of liquor, unlawful transportation of an opened container of alcoholic beverage and following too closely.

Special Judge Alicia Littlefield ordered Morrison to be back in court Oct. 6.

A police report said Morrison was driving a 1997 Lexus on U.S. 59 Tuesday night when he collided with Karl Shklar’s vehicle, which rear-ended a truck driven by Lora Lee Scroggins.
