Public’s Help Sought In Solving Arson Fires

Spokane Fire District 9 officials are asking for the public’s help in investigating two arson fires.

Two cars were torched minutes apart starting at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 21, said fire investigator Doug Bleeker.

One car was set on fire along the 1000 block of West Parkhill, the other at the 15000 block of North Columbus. The cars were parked in separate driveways just blocks apart, Bleeker said.

Bleeker said both cars were broken into and torched from the inside. No one was hurt in either blaze.
