Brian Finneran, Villanova’s star wide receiver, won the Walter Payton Award as the nation’s outstanding player in Division I-AA.

Finneran, who helped the Wildcats to an 11-0 regular season record and a No. 1 ranking, caught 75 passes for 1,151 yards and 17 touchdowns.
