Vikings Qb Out

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson will miss the rest of the season because of a herniated disk, forcing Randall Cunningham into a starting lineup for the first time since 1995.

The decision was made after Johnson met with neurosurgeon Gaylon Rockswold, who recommended surgery. The 29-year-old Johnson likely will be ready for the team’s minicamp in May.
