Man Dies In Accident After Heart Attack

A Loon Lake man was killed after suffering a heart attack while driving, Washington State Patrol troopers said Wednesday.

John V. Rogg, 59, was driving southbound on Sunset Bay Road near state Highway 395 about 2:30 p.m. when he suffered a heart attack, troopers said.

His 1995 Toyota Celica crossed the highway, went into a ditch, up an embankment and hit a tree. Rogg was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

No other vehicles were involved.
