Closure Of Upriver Drive For Repairs Delayed

Monday’s anticipated closure of a portion of Upriver Drive has been delayed due to delays in receiving permits for the widening project, officials said.

The Spokane County Public Works Department plans to close the road east of Argonne for about six months. Final permits are expected by the end of the month, officials said. The $1.3 million project will widen Upriver from 24 to 46 feet near Plantes Ferry Park. , DataTimes
