Ewu Raises Tuition For Summer Session
Summer school students at Eastern Washington University will pay slightly more tuition next year, the board of trustees decided Friday.
Undergraduate student tuition will rise from $77 per credit this year to $79 in summer 1998. Tuition for graduate students will increase from $117 to $124 per credit.
An enrollment fee of $50 per student will not change.
Eastern drew 3,206 summer students this year, the highest number since 1990. But the number of credit-hours taken dropped to 24,892, down from a high in 1995 of 26,124. The average credit-hours per student this summer was 7.76, down from 8.25 in 1995. , DataTimes
