Cal State Sacramento coach Debby Colberg has been named the Big Sky Conference women’s volleyball coach of the year.

Colberg led the Hornets to a 21-8 overall record and 13-3 conference mark. Sac State shared the regular-season championship with Eastern Washington, won the league tournament and will play University of Pacific in the first round of the NCAA Tournament today in Seattle.

It was the team’s second season in the Big Sky Conference.
