Town Plans ‘Deck The Falls’ Food, Craft Fair
The Christmas season here officially starts today with a two-day “Deck the Falls” craft and food fair.
Leaders of this 230-person enclave couldn’t find any horses, much less reindeer, but they have a new tractor-drawn wagon to shuttle guests between events at Cutter Theatre and downtown.
There will be food and roasting chestnuts at several locations, but only one Father Christmas. He’ll chat with visitors from 1 to 4 p.m. today and Sunday. Girl Scouts will help children write letters to Santa today from 10 a.m. to noon.
Other events today include the MariSue Dance Recital at 1 p.m.
On Sunday, there will be a pet parade at 1 p.m., a pinata party at 4 p.m. and a silent auction at 5 p.m. for decorated Christmas trees that will be on display throughout the weekend.
