Hingis To Face Huber

Martina Hingis defeated Lindsay Davenport and Anke Huber upset Iva Majoli in the semifinals of the Master of Champions tennis tournament.

Hingis needed just 57 minutes to defeat Davenport 6-4, 6-3. Huber beat Majoli 6-3, 6-4.

The first Masters of Champions tournament featured eight of the world’s top women players split into two groups. The player with the best record in each group faced the second-best in the opposite group in the semifinals.

If Hingis defeats Huber in the final today, she will receive the top prize of $437,850.
