Man Shot To Death At Missoula Residence

A man was shot to death early Saturday at a residence on the south side of Missoula, and two people were in police custody.

Police said the man suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was declared dead at Community Medical Center.

Three men at the scene of the killing were taken into custody and one was released a short time later, said Bob Reid, a detective for the Missoula Police Department.

Reid said more information would be released after further investigation. Authorities withheld the name of the victim until relatives could be notified.
