New Exit To Micron Opens On I-84

From Staff And Wire Reports

Boise got a new gateway from the east, and Micron Technology employees easier access to their jobs with the opening of the new Isaac’s Canyon Interchange on Interstate 84.

It includes a six-lane overpass.

The interchange is 2.5 miles southeast of the Gowen Road Interchange and four miles northwest of the Blacks Creek Interchange. It becomes the 10th interchange on I-84 in Ada County and the first to be built since 1990.

Micron paid half of the $10million construction cost. The Idaho Transportation Department used federal funds to foot the remainder.
