Laticia Morris scored seven straight points in the final 90 seconds of play to cap Portland’s comeback from a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Colorado Xplosion 64-61 at Denver.

Morris, who finished with nine points, gave Portland its first lead at 59-57 with a 3-pointer with 1:25 left on the clock. After Colorado’s Tari Phillips tied at 59-59 with a jumper, Morris hit four consecutive free throws to nail down the win.

Shannon Johnson scored 12 of her 14 points in the third quarter and Tonya Edwards scored 20 points as Columbus won at Philadelphia.
