Man Robs Fast-Food Store At Gunpoint
A man with a gun robbed a north Spokane fast-food restaurant late Wednesday, police said.
Employees told police that a man walked into Skipper’s Seafood House, 3316 N. Monroe, about 9:40 p.m. and pointed a long gun, thought to be a rifle or shotgun, at the head of an employee.
The man ordered employees into the back office and forced one to call the manager at home for the combination to the safe, police said.
The safe was opened, but the money was in a lock box which could not be opened. So the robber took the money from the register and left in what witnesses believed was a brown, 1970s-model Cadillac, police said. No one was injured.
The robber is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black thermal hunting mask, a black coat and black jeans. , DataTimes
