Five Arrested In Mushroom Bust

Five people were held in Thurston County Jail Saturday in connection with an undercover drug bust which yielded $1.5 million in hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Seven people - including a father and daughter - were arrested in a hotel in Olympia Friday night, KIRO-TV reported.

The people, whose identities have not been released, range in age from 19 to 52 years old.

Authorities believe a 52-year-old Chehalis man masterminded the operation, which was based in the garage of his home.
