Mcclintock’s 22 Helps West Valley Edge Cda

Girls basketball

Gabby McClintock, the lone returning starter from West Valley’s state-title team, scored 22 points Saturday during a 51-48 Border League win over visiting Coeur d’Alene (2-5, 1-2).

McClintock made 6 of 9 field goals and 9 of 11 free throws. The Eagles (1-3, 1-1) hit 6 of 11 from 3-point range.

WV, last year’s State AA champion, now plays in the 3A classification.
