Men Jailed After Shooting

One man was shot to death early Saturday and two others were in custody following a fight at a rural residence, Yakima County sheriff’s officers said.

Carlos Barajas, 22, of Sunnyside, was outside the house when he got into an argument with a 33-year-old man, deputies said.

The older man came outside to fight and was accompanied by a man in his late 20s who shot Barajas, investigators said.

Both men from the house were stopped and arrested by police in nearby Toppenish soon afterward, deputies said.
