Canadian Women Top U.S.
Goalie Lesley Reddon made 32 saves, including several clutch stops in the third period, as Canada held on for a 3-2 victory over the U.S. women’s ice hockey team on the second day of the Three Nations Cup.
Hayley Wickenheiser contributed a goal and an assist for Canada, which has the early tournament lead with two points. The U.S. and Finland have one point each.
Stacy Wilson and Nancy Drolet got the other goals for Canada, while Cammi Granato and Sandra Whyte scored for the Americans.
