Several tires stacked too close to a kerosene heater caught fire in a Hayden garage Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were able to control the 4:45 p.m. blaze before it spread to the living quarters of 12300 Kelly Ray Drive.

According to Hayden Lake Fire Department Lt. Mark Ghirarduzzi, all occupants safely exited the home, which sustained only minor smoke damage. , DataTimes
