Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

Spokane County Sheriff’s depu ties continued late Tuesday to search for a man who robbed a Spokane Valley bank, deputies said.

The man walked into United Security Bank, 14306 E. Sprague, about 4:55 p.m., displayed a 9mm handgun and demanded money, deputies said.

He ran east with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured, deputies said.

The man is described as white, about 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds with acne and blond hair that has short, tight curls.

He wore glasses, a black Colorado Rockies baseball cap, a lightweight gray jacket with an elastic waistband, a gray shirt and dark jeans.
