Display Mobile Homes Stripped

Burglars broke into two display units at Lamplighter Homes Inc. Sunday night, sheriff’s deputies said, stripping them clean of furniture and appliances. They even swiped the place settings.

The burglary may be related to two other recent mobile home incidents in the Valley, sheriff’s officials said.

In one, thieves also stripped mobile homes of their appliances and furnishings. In the other, tracks in the snow made it appear someone was scoping out the dealership, although nothing was taken.

Sunday night’s incident took place at 13721 E. Sprague.

The thieves entered the mobile homes through unlocked windows. They took two dining room tables, numerous chairs, end tables, table lamps, a refrigerator, a bed, bedspreads, 11 wall hangings, 11 silk plants, seven silk trees and at least 14 place settings. They also stole a curtain rod.

No arrests have been made.
